Kirk J. Bradley
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Kirk Bradley currently serves as Chairman, President, and CEO of Lee-Moore Capital Company in Sanford, NC. In addition, he serves as Chairman and President of Governors Club Development Corp. in Chapel Hill, NC. Lee-Moore is a private, family-owned business that focuses on real estate investment and venture capital with a specific focus on energy related investments. Governors Club Development Corp. developed the 27-hole Jack Nicklaus community of the same name as well as the mixed-use community, Governors Village. Recently, LMCC is developing Westpoint at 751 in Durham, NC.
Kirk received his MBA in 1986 from Duke University’s Fuqua School
of Business and his BBA in 1984 from the University of Georgia’s
Terry College of Business in Management Information Systems.
Kirk’s postgraduate studies included M & A work at Northwestern’s
Kellogg School and the Management Program for Mid-size Businesses
at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. Kirk is a member of the
Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is a licensed real estate broker
in North Carolina. He resides in Chapel Hill, NC and is
married and has two daughters. He is a member of Christ United
Methodist Church in Chapel Hill, NC and is active with mission 1:27.
Philanthropic and Civic Involvement
Kirk currently serves as Chair of the Heart Center Board at Duke Medicine and is on the Board of Visitors of Duke Medicine. He is a Trustee of the Civil War Preservation Trust, whose mission is to save Civil War Battlefields and has spearheaded the effort to develop the North Carolina Civil War Trail (opened March 2005) as a mechanism to help North Carolina promote Heritage Tourism. He also serves as a member of the Board of Visitors of the Institute for the Environment at UNC, Emeritus Director of the Alumni Board of the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia and a Director of Old Chatham Golf Club. He serves as the Chair of the Lee County 2nd Century Project which spearheaded the efforts to develop a marketing and economic development plan for the community. Kirk is currently chair of the Lee County Education Foundation which just awarded the first annual "Head of Class" award.
